Dr Adam Fraser - biography.
Dr Adam Fraser is one of Australia’s leading educators, researchers and thought leaders in the area of human performance! In this time he has worked with elite level athletes, the armed forces and business professionals of all levels. For the past 7 years Adam has been working exclusively in the corporate and business world to elevate and sustain the performance of the employees of the companies that hire him. Adam’s work takes many forms from one on one coaching, consulting, to workshops and keynote presentations.
In the last 4 years he has delivered more than 500 presentations to over 40,000 people in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. He has worked in many industries and his clients include, CBA, Westpac, Optus, IBM, ABN AMRO, PWC, Asteron, AON, Tower, Local Government Managers Association, Merck Sharpe & Dohme, Queensland Law Society, and the Department of Education.
His topics included the psychology of performance, improvement of productivity, leadership, engagement of teams, emotional intelligence and emotional regulation, as well as the development and sustainability of high performance cultures.
In addition Dr Adam is CEO of “The Glucose Club” a company that guides and supports individuals into a lifestyle that will improve their quality of life and amplify their mental and physical wellbeing. Each day “The Glucose Club” works with some of Australia’s most influential business leaders to keep them at the top of their game.
He is heavily involved in new research, which ensures he stays on the cutting edge and his material is fresh and relevant. In 2005 He was runner up in the Young Investigator of the Year award at the AAESS conference. In addition Dr Adam is the author of the best selling book “Sugar Daddy”, which explores how we prevent and control metabolic diseases like diabetes and obesity.
In June 2006 Adam was featured in the workspace section of the Australian Financial Review. He has also contributed to Business Review Weekly (BRW) and Human Capitol magazine. He previously had a regular radio spot on ABC 702 and has completed countless interviews on radio programs all over Australia. Adam is a regular presenter on TV and has been on Channel 7’s Sunrise, Koshie’s Business Builders, Channel 9’s Today show, “What’s good for you” and Close Up in Auckland.
He was previously a director on the NSW board for AAESS and Sports Medicine Australia. He is involved in a number of children’s charities such as Camp Quality and in his spare time is training to swim the English Channel.
He is married to a woman who is far brighter than he is. He also has a dog Tilly who routinely outwits him. With only one television in the house, Adam does not get to watch nearly enough sport.

In addition to his work in the area of performance Dr Adam also directs a company called The Glucose Club.
The main focus of The Glucose Club is to provide lifestyle programs, education and support to people with metabolic health problems like obesity, diabetes, syndrome X, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, to mention a few. The Glucose Club has recently finished a national research project with the health fund GU Health, which showed that physical activity and dietary change can dramatically reduce the severity of diabetes.
